Talking about the most hightech city in Uttar Pradesh, Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida), being adjacent to the border of Delhi and Haryana, in this hightech city, police and liquor mafia are flourishing more than the traders. In Noida and Greater Noida alone about 2000 cartoons of country liquor are consumed daily, reason the prices of liquor in Delhi and Haryana are cheaper. When we began to investigate the matter, we reached Bisarkh police station area, known as Ravan’s birth place. According to the sources, in this police station area alone there are more than 100 illegal country liquor stores running openly, and that too with the help of the Uttar Pradesh police, hearing this we were astonished. When we tried to know, we found out that daily trucks loaded with country liquor are coming to Noida from Haryana via Kalindi in Delhi, and then the trucks are unloaded at liquor mafia’s secret place, and from there two-three boxes of liquor are sent to the small shops.
According to the sources, country liquor, called CRAZY ROMEO and IMPACT, are openly sold in those areas of Noida and Greater Noida, where construction of large high-rise buildings is going on, as the consumers are the labourers. One among the labourers is an agent of these liquor mafia who works on a salary of 10,000 rupees to 15,000 rupees. In small villages of Bisarakh area, liquor mafia in Choti Milak Rakesh Bhati, Raj Nagar, Rosa, Yakubpur in Bihari bazaar, and in Rosa village Shahib and his wife, Shabana, Babli Bhati in Patwadi, Madan Pal in Itada and his brother-in-law Rahul and his wife, Harendra Bhati, in the market near Badami Devi School in Bisrakh, Haibatpur Bazar, Tigari Bazar near nullah, Patwadi haunt is of Vedan. Each mafia has 10 to 12 shops(addi) in running. |
The daily sale of these liquor mafias, like in Choti Milak Rs 15,000 to 18,000 rupees per day, 20,000 to 22000 in Rosa Yakubpur, Rs 20,000 in Patwari, Rs 60,000 to Rs 65,000 in Itaida, Rs 80,000 in Bisrakh, Rs14,000 in tigdi, In Haibatpur 8,000 rupees , these liquor mafia earn per day. The Bisrakh police gets 375000 per month from the mafia.The constable who is the medium is called contractor by liquor mafia .Separately 10,000 rupees per Addi is given to outpost in charge of the area | The earnings of the police do not stop here, after this, the Lepord Mobile Police and Dial 100 gets 1,000 rupees per day and every night separately, so that if any person complains to the police against the liquor trade , then this Dial 100 and Lepord Mobile Police informs the liquor mafia of the complaint, and before the arrival of the senior officers, the liquor mafia vanishes with all his goods. When there is an untoward incident or when there is excessive pressure from the senior police officers, then the liquor mafia brings one man from each addi to the outpost incharge of the area, he is sent to jail under normal sections and the person comes out of jail in two to three days and again gets on with his lquor trade again. All this legal process costs 4,000 thousand rupees which is a nominal amount for the liquor mafia.
