Faini Cheerrss in Goa Carnival

Goa is celebrating its annual festival Goa ‘Carnival’ now days, this year it has started on 3rd March. The tourism department of Goa hosts it in a very lively and extravagant way, carnival atmosphere is full of love, energy, enthusiasm, cheering with wines on streets and beaches, cruise ride etc. Generally speaking, Goa is the state which is famous for being the pleasure ground for national as well as international tourists. This is said as tourist, who come here want enjoyment and what better place than Goa. Goa is pure heaven for booze lovers.

There are elaborate celebrations where cheerful crowds can be seen just loosing themselves to the madness and vibe of the festivities. It is truly a dance and music extravaganza. The Goa Carnival has over 500 years of history and dates back to the times when Goa was a Portuguese colony. This event is unique to Goa and is celebrated only here. Amazing parades, colorful costumes, lots of music, beautiful floats, and attractive dances. Huge street celebrations are organized all over the state. Evenings and nights are for non-stop parties.

Faini makes the Goa carnival more special, it is a specialty of Goa, for which booze lovers come from far away. Although variety of liquor is available in fest but Faini is different. Faini celebrations are specially organized on the beaches these days. Due to the abundance of Russian tourists, there is plenty of Russian vodka and Indian vodka available in Goa, but Faini has a very prominent role in celebrations Goa during the Carnival period. A Russian woman, Amy Susano, who has been living in South Goa for more than a month, says in a conversation with Cheerrss.com that during the Carnival days, she drinks Faini at Colva beach.

During the Carnival, lots of traditional things, Goan art, short plays, Goan culture, food, music, etc are there for enjoyment. The final day of the festivities is the most spectacular. The famous red-and-black dance held by the Clube National in Panjim is also the attraction point. Altogether, these celebrations are about eating, drinking, and having fun. Fire-eaters, acrobats, clowns, jesters, dancers, brass bands, and others follow him during the parade down the main street of Panaji.
