This time also the show is going on. After the death of 23 people in Barabanki, the Excise Department raided illegal liquor breweries in Tharvai police station area of Prayagraj. Villagers of Bahmalpur, chased away the excise department team which went to raid the village .
According to the sources altercation between the two sides continued for a long time . Stone pelting and sticks were also used. Police and Excise Department arrested one of the attackers. When the excise department got additional police force, then only they took further action and recovered about 55 liters of raw liquor. Dozens of illegal liquor breweries were destroyed.Raw illicit liquor was also caught in Ayodhya. Two shops in the Chaire market were operating without license. Both have been sealed.

Similarly, about 500 liters of illicit liquor was caught in Ambedkar Nagar. On the directive of the Superintendent of Police, the team led by the deputy SP raided and caught about five hundred liters of country liquor from Jahangirganj. In Banda, 190 liters of illegal liquor has been recovered. The raid was conducted under the Chilla Police Station, where illegal breweries were destroyed in large numbers.
