Excise Department has started the process of renewal of liquor shops for the financial year (2019-20). This process will start from January 14 and ends January 23. Only those shops will be renewed, which will be meeting all the requirements related to renewal by December 31, 2018. Model Shops and shops that will not be renewed, will be allotted through e-lottery.
The renewal process will last from January 14 to 23.
Online application for renewal will be accepted from January 14th to19th January upto 5 pm. Online application for e-lottery will commence on February 11 from 10 a.m. to 19th February till 6.00 p.m.
For 2019-20, Yogi Government had laid down the condition in the new Excise Policy, that only those shops will be renewed in (2019-2020) who have surpassed their previous year sale.
According to the program which has been issued by the excise department for the renewal of shops and model shop, the online application for renewal will be accepted from January 14th to 19th January. After the application has been submitted, the department will decide on the renewal within three working days and will deposit the Basic License Fee and Annual License Fee along with the renewal fee for the next year from the applicant.
The shops which will not be renewed will be allotted through e-lottery. The details of these shops will be uploaded on the excise department portal till 8th of February. The online application for these shops will be accepted from February 11th to 19th of February. Applications will be examined from February 20 to February 25th, and the allotment of shops will start from 9 am on February 26th through e-lottery.
Places for e-lottery will be decided by the DM in every district. For the shops left out in the first phase, e-lottery will be carried out in the second phase.The application for this will be deposited on March 16 from 10 a.m. to 22nd March till 6.00 p.m. Examination of applications from 23rd to 25th March and allotment of shops through e-lottery will be done on March 26th.
