These beach houses, which are known as Connection Houses, provide the convenience of bedding, bars and brothels to the migrants. These migrants have no permanent settlement. They even don’t know where to go? These people are among the immigrants growing up in Europe , they are wandering here and there, fighting poverty or saving themselves from war.
According to the international organization IOM of the migrants, in the first six months of this year, 55 thousand migrants have arrived in the coastal countries of Europe. Most of them have no documents but these people have come in with the hope of getting home and jobs.

This coastal area is about 48 kilometers north of Naples. City which has now become shabby,belongs to the first Etruscan era of the Roman Empire. In the 1970s it was a place for the citizen of Naples to play in the summer. In 1980, the fate of this place took a turn, and it was transformed into an emergency home for more than two and a half million people homeless in the earthquake. The tourist got away from here and along with the economy, the luxurious buildings and beautiful apartments turned shabby. Now the same houses have become the destination of African migrants.

Dmitry Rousseau said, “We have around 30 thousand rooms which were made illegally and now have been left alone.” Most homes do not have basic sewage facilities and they are not worth living for humans. Even after this, migrants who ran away to avoid war, hunger or poverty, settled in these homes hoping to start a new life in Europe.

Promise (name changed) is now 34 years old, is married and mother of two children. A Nigerian woman brought her here promising her job at the Taylor Shop. Promis tells that in some way she ran away from her clutches and an association of nuns helping women who get smuggled gave her shelter.
