Yemen : Alcohol can not be found in Yemen publicly. According to Yemen’s law, if someone is caught drinking in public, then he is sent directly to jail instead of sending him to rehabilitation center for treatment.
United Arab Emirates : Alcohol sales can be made in the United Arab Emirates under strict regulation. But alcohol is completely restricted in Sharjah. However, now there are some concession being given under the law.
Sudan : Alcohol is prohibited in Sudan since 1983. The Sudan Socialist Union passed the liquor prohibition bill, under which brewing and sale of alcohol, consumption of liquor in any form will be illegitimate for the country’s Muslim citizens.
Somalia Somalia is also very strict about the laws related to alcohol. In the country liquor is prohibited, its business and its consumption is prohibited. But here non-Muslims and foreigners are allowed to drink privately.

India : In India, the subject related to the sale,management,consumption of liquor belongs to the state list and the states have the right to make laws on it. Therefore, there are restrictions on alcohol in some states of North-East including Gujarat, and Bihar.
Bangladesh : Alcohol sales and consumption in Bangladesh is prohibited. Although non-Muslims of the country and tourists coming here are exempted in this. These people can consume alcohol in a private place. Wine is allowed for sale at restaurants, hotels etc. located on major tourist centers of the country.
