In Imliya Sultanpur (Sitapur) Ajay Kumar (21) son Basant Lal, who lives in Sheikhpur village of the local police station area, shot himself with a country make pistol on Friday night, denied permission to drink alcohol, he committed suicide by shooting himself. It is said that the deceased had been addicted to alcohol for the past few days. His wife opposed it. On Friday night, Ajay’s wife started stressing on dropping alcohol. There was a dispute between the couple on this issue. At about 9.30 pm, when his wife got engaged in everyday activities, suddenly all of them were shocked to hear the sound of fire from the room.

Upon arriving in the room, found Ajay lying in a dead state with blood. After receiving the news, CO Sadar Pawan Gautam and Station In-charge reached the spot and investigated.
