A court in Banaskantha district has ordered an administrative officer caught on the charges of drinking and gambling, to clean the hospital for one month in the evening as well as in the morning for two hours. He was also ordered to make the video of his work at his own expense. A lot of crowd gathered seeing the authorities cleaning the hospital and many of them were also seen passing remarks.
Court orders cleanliness
Desa deputy case officer and chief officer in charge of municipality Kirtidan C Maqwana and two others Devchand P Modi and Naveen P Patel were arrested on October 21, 2009 by the police for playing cards while consuming liquor. A judicial magistrate’s court in Desa imposed a simple imprisonment of three months and a fine of one thousand rupees.
On the appeal of the police filed , the ADJ’s court here ordered the cleaning of the local civil hospital from 10 to 12 in the morning and from 4 to 6 in the evening till December 15 .
