This buffalo Sultan of Kaithal district of Haryana is not a king, but his hobbies are not less than a King. Sultan is worth Rs.21 crores,and is only seven years and 10 months old, but he is famous for his drinking hobby. In fact, Sultan drinks 100 ml of Scotch every evening. This buffalo on a daily basis is served with different brands of scotch. The buffalo has a dry day on Tuesday, i.e. he does not drink liquor on this day. Sultan drinks Teachers on Sunday, Black Dog on Monday, 100 pipers on Wednesday, Belentine on Thursday, Black label or Chivas Regal on Saturday.
Five years ago, Ram Naresh Beniwal purchased Sultan from Rohtak for Rs 2 lakh 40 thousand rupees. Few days back a foreigner was even ready to buy him for Rs 21 crore . In the morning breakfast, Sultan consumes ghee and drinks milk. Sultan’s weight is 1700 kg, and belongs to the Murrah breed. Sultan is more than six feet tall. The owner claims that this buffalo is tallest in the world. Sultan is winner of many animal contests in India.
Ram Naresh claims that Sultan gives 30 thousand semens dose in a year, which sells around 300 rupees per dose. Sultan semen is extracted twice a week. According to this estimate, he earns Rs. 90 lakh annually. Sultan’s diet is also very good. He is given 10 kilogram of granules and same amount of milk daily. About 35 kg of green and dry fodder is given to him daily. Sultan also eats apple and carrots. He is served with 15 kg apples in winter and 20 kg of carrots in the summer. His owner Naresh says that this buffalo consumes around 2500 rupees of fodder in a day.
