Wine lovers will always consume liquor in fear, unless and until they get recognition as liquor consumers. The question here is, how can they get the genuine status of liquor consumers, until they drink with a feeling, as if they are doing something immoral. If drinking liquor is sin, or it is being consumed in fear, then the treatment meted out to liquor consumers on the social front is absolutely correct . A drinker is seen as if he is from outside the mainstream society, people are more cruel and voilent towards him, and inhuman treatment by the society is common.
If the wine consumer opposes this social behavior, then the matter is not heard because the feeling of doing something wrong has not been out from the mind of the liquor consumers. The person drinking liquor is actually a liquor consumer. But he himself rarely have liked calling himself a wine consumer. Wine consumers do not want to get out of the image created by, poets, and film songs. They are influenced by words that look glamorous in the society. However, these are words that become abusive when the matter worsens.
Wine Consumers are identified with different names and identity rather then that of liquor consumer. Did any alcohol consumer try to break this image? No, because so far in India, especially those who drink liquor in northern India, they get carefree as they drink. If alcohol consumers, who are already aware, will break their hesitation that they are actually a consumer like any other consumers, then they will get respect in the society which they deserve. It may take some time, but if you have the initiative to take possession of it, then you will definitely get that right.
But this does not seem to be happening because the liquor consumer lives in guilt, he feels good in the evening and at night, but most alcohol consumers during day time term same liquor as bad , which give them support every evening or night. No wine drinker can get social recognition as a consumer of alcohol without leaving this hypocrisy. Though legally he is a liquor consumer, but since there is no social recognition, the law also does not support him. We will have to break and get out of this hypocrisy. If you have to drink liquor, then you have to give respect it deserves.
Without talking or giving examples of those people, who discredit liquor by their act, because this will always go on, it can not be stopped, and it happens in every feild. So it is necessary to break the hesitation, to get rid of double standards and hypocrisy.
